Need volunteer hours or just looking for a way to
better your community?
There are many ways to get involved and volunteer with
Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful.
Different opportunities for volunteer engagement include the following:
Volunteer with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful in the office and/or as an environmental project assistant.
Volunteer during a community improvement project. These are custom projects that offer team building opportunities.
Volunteer as a site captain and lead volunteers on the day of the project, register volunteers,
administer a safety training and give project direction.
Volunteer 4 times a year with our adoption program. This is a 2 year responsibility to maintain or improve the adopted
site, administer a safety training, report data and better your communication skills.
Volunteer with our education/outreach department. Give presentations or present at an outreach booth
during a special event or at a school.
Volunteer through our internship program(unpaid). High school, college students or resume building interns are given
hands on non-profit organization training.
Volunteer as one of our Ambassadors. You can become an Ambassador of Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful
and become a spokesperson for the organization.
Volunteer at our Florida Learning Garden. At the garden you will learn about sustainable growing practices, how to
harvest produce, maintain the grow beds, weed and learn more about Florida-friendly landscape principals.
Volunteers are needed throughout the Tampa Bay area to participate in cleanups, beautification and
restoration projects, community gardens and much more!
Our next major volunteer event will be the Hillsborough River & Coastal Cleanup.
